Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our workshops are tailored to suit everyone.

Workshop Options

All workshops include hands-on learning in storytelling, filming, and editing.

Choose the format that suits your needs:

• Digital Storytelling Workshop (2 days): Perfect for beginners, participants create a 60-second mini-documentary or story using a smartphone.

• Short Scripted Group Film Workshop (3 days): Dive deeper into professional smartphone filmmaking techniques, and collaborate to produce a short fiction film (ideal for team-building).

• Cinematic Vlogging Workshop (1 or 2 days): A high-energy, hands-on 1- or 2-day workshop for aspiring content creators exploring cinematic storytelling for YouTube.

The recommended workshop size is between 10 and 20 people maximum, to allow for adequate hands-on practice.  In some cases, workshops have been booked for smaller numbers of participants.​

What's Included

We provide:

• Professional facilitators with extensive experience

• Essential equipment (tripods, microphones, reflectors, etc.)

• Guidance and support during and after the workshop

Participants need to bring their smartphones or tablets, and headphones if they own them.

Venue Requirements

A suitable workshop space should include:

• Seating for up to 20 participants

• A projector with audio setup, and whiteboard (if unavailable, we can supply these)

Pricing

Workshops are priced to be affordable, and may be fully or partially subsidised for participants. Travel and accommodation costs may apply for locations outside metro areas. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking specific dates.

Booking is simple!

• You can check the following calendar as a guide to availability. We are generally available weekends, and can not book dates where we already have a booking on this calendar.

• We will provide a custom quotation for your workshop needs. Ask us any questions you need.

• You can confirm your booking by paying a deposit, as per above. Workshops are currently booked under auspice of incorporated association Cinespace Incorporated ABN 52 689 410 229.
